Are there any setup fees?
No. There are no setup fees, cancellation fees, or hidden fees anywhere. Kor Computing does not believe in nickel and diming our customers.
Are there any long-term contracts?
No. All of our services are month to month. You are free to cancel at any time.
Do you provide discounts for large amounts of data?
Yes. Price breaks occur after every 1000GB. Contact us for a quote.
Can you seed load my data?
Yes. Just send us a removable USB hard drive with your data on it and we will be happy to load it on your server. Please be sure that the filesystem is formatted NTFS.
Is there a limit to the amount of storage I can use?
Yes and No. Each physical array can hold a maximum of 5.45TB of data. Customers with more than that can span multiple arrays, however, due to limitations in the backup software no one single folder can contain more than 5.45TB.
Who has access to my data?
Our owner, and our data center manager. No other staff have either physical or remote access to our servers.
How do I recover my data from you in the event of a server failure on my side?
Please email or call us ASAP so we can disable your account to prevent any corrupt data replicating to us. Once that is complete, we support three ways of getting your data back to you.
- We can send all or part of the data back to you on a removable USB hard drive.
- If you only require a few files or folders we can zip them up and you can download them from our web server.
- If you expect an extended outage we can bring up a temporary backup server on your behalf and point it to your replication data. This way your clients can continue to backup as normal while you work on getting your server back up.
Is there a minimum monthly fee?
Yes. There is a $12.50 (50GB) per month minimum.
How soon can you setup my replication account?
Accounts are provisioned after an order is completed. If an order is submitted during normal business hours we can usually have it ready in about 5 minutes. Orders submitted after hours will be provisioned the following business day.
