Company profile

Kor Computing was started in 2006 with a goal to provide service providers a safe, secure, and simple way to backup their data offsite. With only a single Dell server and a business cable line we signed up our first few customers within just a few months.

Over the next 2 years, we expanded our offsite replication business and focused on providing the best service possible. In late 2007 after receiving many requests from our customers to provide primary backup servers we entered into the hosted server market.

Over the next year we continued to grow both services until we reached a point that our data center at the time was not able to keep up with our power and bandwidth demands. Throughout the fourth quarter of 2010, we moved our entire operations to a brand new tier 4 data center in Phoenix, AZ

This new 500,000 square foot facility will allow us to expand well into the future without so much as batting an eye. Some key features are outlined below.
  • SAS70 Certified
  • Tier 1 5 carrier blend
  • Twelve 2 Megawatt generators
  • 130,000 Gallon fuel storage
  • On-site water treatment system
  • 60,000 Gallon water storage
  • 8,000+ Tons of cooling capacity
  • Double interlock preaction dry pipe

On October 6, 2010, Kor Computing was aquired by Stone Bridge Data, a Colorado registered Limited Liability Corporation. Kor Computing continues as a division of Stone Bridge Data dedicated to primary and replication virtual servers for the backup industry.
